Ideally we would like to be able to have something generated based on tasks we are adding to a project, that can also automatically check for any updates to expected timeframes.
For example, we are looking at wanting to base the roadmap off epics where each epic would have it's own start and end date.
We are aware of these two options:
- The roadmap macro in confluence; this has to be manually maintained in addition to the Jira epics.
- The Jira roadmap gadget; this works from releases (fix versions) which we would also have to manually maintain and we are not currently looking to use for this Jira project
