Free Version Data Centre Location

HI,

We are looking to start using Jira free plan to evaluate and perform some basic functionality. As our data can be sensitive in nature, is it possible to configure the free plan so that only UK data centres are used?

In addition to what @Nic Brough _Adaptavist_ said, from the FAQ, it looks like data residency is only for the paid plans (Standard, Premium, Enterprise)

Atlassian chose not to locate any data centres in the UK (reading between the lines, because the UK "chose" socio-economic suicide in 2016).  The nearest ones are in the EU, in Ireland and Frankfurt.

True. Adding to that - data residency is not available on the free plan. Your choice of data center is only available on paid plans (standard / premium / enterprise)
