We are trying to use kanban process for our project, but we have a very large backlog. Only part of this backlog should be brought for implementation using kanban process and be counted against the WIP (and used on control chart).
At the same time, we do'nt want to delete all those issues from the system and we would prefer to have a column (or a stack) on a board, from which we could quickly bring in new tasks to work on.
Is it possible to specify which columns are taken into account for all the statistics and WIP calculation?
