Error contacting JIRA

We have installed the Gantt cloud add-on to our JIRA on-demand instance. Last week we had a pre-defined JQL set to filter by Project name. All was working correctly.

Today we are getting the following error message even though project X does exist in our instance:

An error occured while contacting with JIRA API. The following error message has been returned:

The value 'X' does not exist for the field 'PROJECT'.

Chances are the problem was temporary and caused by network degradation unless the project permissions changed recently? In any case, if the problem still persists, use firebug or a javascript console to see if its identifying anything meaningful - with that you can reach out to the vendor and submit a support ticket (most vendors have issues trackers). If all else fails open a support request at support.atlassian.com
