Error Message: this board has no columns with a mapped status

I am running Jira Agile version 6.4.4.  I have created a new project using the JIRA workflow.  I have created a SCRUM board and I have created some issues that are in Open status.  No issues appear on my board and I receive the following error message: "this board has no columns with a mapped status"

Has anyone seen this behavior or know how to resolve?  Thanks! Martin

Hey Martin,

Under board settings (... menu in the top right) go to the Columns section and make sure that status are mapped correctly on your board.

Thanks Tyler, thanks for your response the columns looked like they were mapped correctly in the column configuration view, but I have since found that the workflow was not mapped correctly.  My admin was able to view the workflow mapping and make the correction.
