Error - Can not create issues

Markús Guðmundsson Dec 28, 2017

We are getting an error anytime we click the "Create" button in JIRA to attempt to create an issue. A dialog with a red border is show. This is preventing us from creating any issues, so it is quite a showstopper.

We upgraded to the latest version v7.6.2, but the error still occurs.

The logs are now showing anything specific. The dialog shows the description below.

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers, Markús

Do you have any javascript custom code? Maybe in JIRA's Announcement Banner?

Also, what does the dialog look like?

If that's the case, make sure you load the html elements before referencing them in your script, as shown here:

Thank you. It turned out that we had an Add-On with an expired evaluation license, which was causing this error.

After disabling this, we no longer had the issue.

Also, after buying a license for it , it was not causing these issues anymore.

Awesome! Glad you could finally fix it!
