End date reverting to initial value when subtask opened

Kyle Link December 7, 2020

I have a weird bug on Jira cloud.

I have a board with tasks and subtasks. If I change the due date for the task and refresh, everything saves and works well. If I open any sub task on the board, any changes to due date after the initial issue was created, will be reverted to their initial value. The sub tasks do not have to be connected to the task. Opening one sub task will revert the dates for all tasks. The only commonality that I have seen so far is that it impacts issues on the same board. I have not tested it across multiple boards.

Example.

1. Open existing issue ABC-123, due date is Dec 1 2020.
2. Change due date to Jan 1 2021.
3. Open existing sub task ABC-124.
4. Reopen task ABC-123.
5. Due date >>> Dec 1 2020.
