Downgrade license count

Hi,

We have scaled down our license from 50 to 10 users. Our users are configured in a Microsoft AD - all users are in the group jira-users. When we add users to the jira-users group in the AD they are automatically synced to JIRA - no problem. However, we have now removed users from the jira-users group but they are not removed in JIRA (which gives us a licensing issue - red bar at top). How can we disable/inactivate/delete the users we have removed from the Microsoft AD group jira-users?

if you are an admin go to the User Management area, search for the user and "Deactivate" them. If they are deactivated you should not be charged. You can also look at the billing section to check the number of users being billed.
