Does JIRA and GreenHopper support Internet Explorer 10 on WIndows 8?

When using GreenHopper for Agile project management in Internet Explorer 10, none of the GreenHopper screens are displayed, and an error appears at the bottom of the screen.

The reported error is related to a javascript file.

No, IE10 is not supported. https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Supported+Platforms

Does IE10 have backward compatibility with IE9?
