Do anyone know if Jira has an Architecture Design for Slack?

We are trying to integrate Jira. We got to Slack to get a better picture of how this work and requested the Architecture Design from Slack but according to Slack, we will need to get this from Jira Support? But wondering if anyone has seen this document?

Before any design, it's important to understand there are multiple connectors/integrations available between Jira and Slack. Each one has a different design and set of features.

For Jira Cloud, there's the Jira for Slack App which you can just install in Slack and you'll find a very smooth onboarding tutorial that'll guide you until you connect to your Jira Cloud site. It supports multiple Jira sites and Slack workspaces.

For Jira Server, the official Atlassian-supported integration is Jira Server for Slack. This is a Jira plugin so it integrates tightly with Jira and you have to install it in your Jira Server instance through the Atlassian Marketplace. Once installed, it takes a Jira admin and a Slack admin to perform the installation (see documentation) in both ends. As a plugin, it runs on-premise and communicates directly with Slack. This solution supports Data Center and is able to connect to multiple workspaces. Feature-wise it supports notifications with project-level configurations, secure issue unfurl, dedicated channels, etc.

There are also alternative third-party solutions that usually makes use of Jira WebHooks, such as Jira Server Alerts by Slack and others.
