What do you mean by Excel Reports? If you mean to extract issues to Excel then you can use Xporter plugin

The plugin has API. You can make a service either in Jira or OS or anywhere you like and use the API to extract issues to Excel format

Out of the box Jira can export on schedule only by email. But it is not in Excel format
