Hello,
we are using JIRA agile in a scrum environment. For our team, A task is considered 'done' once it is deployed to a environment. It then goes into QA.
When a task is deployed, it receives the resolution 'deployed' and the status 'ready for QA'.
What we want is, that deployed issues are not considered 'incomplete' by jira agile and the jira agile burndown chart. It is confusing that the jira burndown chart is having a different status than our real one, since deployed issues should be considered done.
Also according to jira, our sprint is never finished, since the tasks are not 'closed'.
Can we define the filter jira agile is using for determining whether a task is done or not?
You can manually map any status to any column in an agile board.
Just select "Configure Board" for your agile board, select the tab "Columns". There you can map any status to any column:
Apparently jira is taking the most right field for checking what is done. That information is already very helpful for our process.
A JQL filter would be even better in my opinion though
