Cycle Time Reports

Deepak Indoliya April 2, 2012

I have the following columns on my Rapid Board:

Q for Development

Development In Progress (In Progress Status in JIRA)

Development Completed

Q for QA

QA In Progress

Story Completed (CLOSED status in JIRA)

I'd like to measure the Cycle Time between "Development In Progress" and "Story Completed". Is there a way to easily do this in JIRA/Greenhopper? I am using JIRA 4.4.

Hello,

You can do this by refining the chart via the Refine... option in the top right of the chart:

Simply select the columns you are interested in, and that will give you the cycle time for that selection.

A tool which is good to be aware of is the scrum metrics to compare budgeted v actual - see the rapid scrum metrics dashboard gadget.
