We are creating one JIRA project for one Agile Release Train with five teams working on different Epics and Stories within one JIRA project. See sreenshot.
If the Jira project that contains the work for the release train has one set of sprints that are used by all the teams on the train, we’ll be able to report sprint burndown for the whole train.
How can a single team get their own sprint burndown?
Yes you should look at doing a scrum of scrum approach. Each team has their own scrum board. In your scenario you creat a board based upon epic maybe or by team members if you wish the board to live beyond the single epic. Then you create a board based upon a filter that has all team’s issues. Ideally you start and end all sprints concurrently.

I believe if you make a new Board that filters to show only that single team, then you should be able to see the burndown.
We have it slightly differently. We have one team working on multiple projects using one sprint. We have the following boards:
When we look at the Team Board, we see the sprint burndown that includes all the projects.
When we look at the Project A Board, we only see the sprint burndown as it relates to Project A's Stories.
