Classic Roadmap Missing Child Tasks

I have a Jira Classic Roadmap that is showing the child tasks for most of the epics; however, it is not showing it for two epics created today.  I have gone into the parent and linked/unlinked/re-linked the child.  I have also gone into the child and linked/unlinked/re-linked the parent.  I have also set each to in-progress and set the start and finish dates.

Nothing is workiing.

Any ideas?

The project roadmaps are designed to show what is under “Issues in this Epic” that belongs to the same project. 

Linked issues and sub-tasks will not be visible on the roadmap.

There are feature requests suggesting improvements for that:

• Support cross-project usage in Basic Roadmaps
• Option to Drill Down to Sub-Task in Next-Gen/Classic Roadmap
