Changing templates from default

We have our own project template (created from shared configuration) that we use for all new projects.  Is there any way to make this the default scrum template or is there a way to edit the current default?

Having to scroll to the bottom each time, remember to select the create from shared configuration is painful when you are allowing multiple people the option to do this.

yes you have other option. The cheapest one is the one you are using, but its complicated.

You could also use Gaia for Jira to do this. It was the solution used by Atlassian Expert before they implement Create from "Shared Configuration".
