Changing date format for "start date" "due date" fields not working

Hi,

 

I have tried to change the settings in "look and feel" to change the format to dd/mmm/yy. I have also changed this in the system advanced settings, yet the date format in those fields I mentioned in the question are still of the yy/mmm/dd format (see screenshot).

What' even more interesting, the format is also different if you scroll down the ticket where you can see created and updated date:

Any ideas what could be causing this?
