Changes made to the version name from Plan side panel aren't saved

In the Plan page of an Scrum Agile board, users with administration permissions can edit versions in the Versions panel at the left of the screen. 

Since using Agile 6.6, now the changes made to a version name do not stick. They appear to be changed, but the names revert to the old name as soon as the page is refreshed.

Users have to go in the project's Administration page instead now.

We've reproduced this issue with various users across different browsers.

What could cause this?

We're using JIRA Agile 6.6.13 with JIRA 6.3.9
