Change title from Issue to something else.

We would like to use JIRA for more than issue tracking. Is there a way to change title from Issue to say something like Action Items or Requirements?

>It is just confusing that Tasks/Enhancements are logged under issues.

That suggests those types are sub-task types, and you have "Issue" as a parent type in the scheme for that project.  You can remove "issue" from the scheme, swapping the existing issues to another type that has a more suitable name.

Thanks, we're already using our own issue type scheme. It is just confusing that Tasks/Enhancements are logged under issues.

Don't try to rename "Issues", it's just going to confuse people.

It would be better to set up your own "issue type schemes" - ones that include Action Items and Requirements as issue types (and then remove the default "issue" issue type from them)

Maybe you would like to try and use Confluence for that and connect it with Jira.
