I change the configuration of the story points to be applied to all the tickets and not only stories so I go in settings => Issues => Custom fields => Default Configuration Scheme for Story Points => Edit Configuration
Then in "Choose applicable issue types" I change from story to Any issue Type.
But Then when I go back to my Board settings => Estimation
and select Story Points.
I still have the same notation then in my tickets as I can only put 1m as minimum unit and always the "m" for minutes
How can I arrange that ?
Changing the board estimation does not change the estimate field, it changes the field the board looks at for its estimates.
You're not saying "change time tracking field to story points" (which would not work at all), you are saying "look at story points instead of time tracking when doing your work"
If you want to use Story points for your board, that's great (and often better than time), but you need to start putting your estimates into the Story point field, instead of time into the estimate.
