Certain fields not trigering notificastions

Hi

 

Is it possible to eliminate certin field updates triggering email notification?

I do not want everyone to get notification if I change some fields which are important only to me

Yes, but not quite in the way you might imagine.

Notifications for field changes are normally done by the notification scheme, but not at a field level.  They are done at the issue-level, and the notification scheme works off "when event X happens, send mail to Y".  Any field change is an "edit" event, the field(s) being changed are not looked at.  So you can't do it with notifications.

What you can do is turn off the edit notifications completely, and then add automation for the fields you want to get them for.  An automation can do "if field X, Y or Z changes, send a custom email to A, B and C"
