We recently upgraded from a 1-year old Jira/Greenhopper to Jira 4.4.3/Greenhopper 5.7.2. One of the things we seem to have lost is a 'popup' view in the planning board, where the full card would open (in a popup with the planning board kind of glassed-out) and be editable as an ajax-y call, without opening a new tab or opening the card page directly.
I don't know what to call the lost mode or how to find it in the new version of Greenhopper, but my users are not happy with this feature missing.
The iframe support was removed a while ago and according to this link probably in 5.5: http://forums.atlassian.com/ann.jspa?annID=232
If you users like the old iframe feature, you might want to check out the new GreenHopper Rapid Board. When you click on an issue on the Rapid Board, a detailed view is displayed on the right hand side. See http://confluence.atlassian.com/display/GH056/Using+the+Rapid+Board#UsingtheRapidBoard-DetailedView
Thanks for the info. I will check out the rapid board and let the people know about it.

Nor were my users, particularly with the speed of the task and planning boards in IE8. IMHO they should have waited until rapid board was ready for prime time before removing this.
