Cant connect with Jira from Microsoft Teams

I get this error when I try and connect Microsoft Teams to the Jira Cloud Software.

[6:21 PM] Jira Cloud Please check if your Jira url is valid and that you have the latest version of Jira Cloud for Microsoft Teams installed on your Jira instance.

I cant figure out why this is? my url is valid and i've used the same email address to setup my teams and my jira cloud.

Can anyone help?

Not sure if you can directly integrate with JIRA Cloud directly from Microsoft as per https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/microsoft-teams-blog/new-jira-server-integration-for-microsoft-teams/ba-p/327688. This is only for JIRA Server

For Cloud, there's an add on called Microsoft Teams for JIRA. Try that!
