Cannot Create Subtasks from Planning board

I have a planning board with some stories. When I click on the story on the planning board, there is no button for creating a subtask for the story like in the tutorial video at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2-_qCly1vog&feature=player_embedded.

If I create a technical subtask from a story outside of greenhopper, that's not reflected in the planning board. It looks like I am missing the subtask tab in the detail view of the story from the planning board. What gives? Same problem as

Atlassian JIRA (v4.4.4#664-r167664) & GreenHopper (v5.8.7)

I'm pretty sure thy this feature was introduced later than GreenHopper 5.8.7 (you'd have to check the release notes to be sure). I'd recommend upgrading as we're now past 6.0.6. Regards, Shaun

My jira admin is pretty slow at upgrading. He's busy right now, so this is on the back-burner. I'll report back when he updates.

I tried adding all items under administration>Labs but still no luck. Not having this feature is a deal-breaker for me in terms of using greenhopper.
