Can we do a hot JAR file update in JIRA?

Hello

(1) Where to put the plug-in JAR file if we want to update it manually.

Referring to
https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRASERVER-64414

We are using JIRA 7.2.x
And after down-loading "JIRA Drag and Drop Attachment Plugin 4.3.10",
where to put it.

(2) How do we know if it is plug-in1 or plug-in2?

(3) Can we just replace the existing JAR file, while JIRA is live?  Or we need to shut down JIRA first, before we can replace the file?

Do not touch the files on the filesystem.

In JIRA, navigate to Administration > Manage Add-ons. Select Upload add-on. Upload the appropriate add-on file.

This should be all that is required.
