Hi ,

I'm looking for a functionality when check box is ticked it should automatically create a ticket in that specific project.

I have a master project in which a ticket is created . In this ticket I want to show a check box containing keys tasks to be done to fulfil this ticket.

For example, lets take Change Request Ticket, here I want to display options of checklist.  Here in this check list which are individual projects.

check box

Detailed Design

Test & Verification

Stock Control

These are project which will be shown in check box by ticking these check box a ticket should be create with specific issue type

Hi @Teja

If you have Automation for Jira, create an automation rule from Project Settings -> Automation.

  • When Checkbox field is changed (value added)
  • If checkbox contains any value of xxx
  • Create issue

Hi @Tansu Akdeniz

Yes, I tried this automation and it created tickets. But this is displayed as a dropdown list .

check box = dropdown

It should show the status and create a ticket when it checked.
