Can two sprints be active at the same time?

The previous sprint was accidentally deleted. (sprint 3)

I have an active sprint (sprint 4) - the current sprint. I have recreated the previous sprint (3) also but have not started it as I would like to know if starting this sprint will affect the active sprint (sprint 4) ?
