Can't make any automation rule trigger

Hi There, I have a classic software project and I can't make any automation rule trigger. even creating the most simple of rule for example when issue transitioned from to do to done, add a test comment.

I'm at a bit of a loss

Any help greatly appreciated

There is a known and active incident for Automations in Cloud - https://jira-software.status.atlassian.com/incidents/x5yqyntc3kys
