Can't Start Sprint - It Freezes

I have closed sprint 1 and now I am trying to start sprint 2; however every time I try to start sprint 2 buy selecting the blue icon labeled start sprint, it acts like it is trying to start it but it just hangs in processing and never starts.

Has anyone else had this issue?

I have the exact same issue. Were you able to find a solution? I'm able to make it work by restarting jira
