Can We Use Following Workflow Transition Properties in Jira Cloud?

Hi, Team

I hope you're doing well.

Currently, we are doing a Test Migration Of 3 Projects from Server to cloud, And Workflow Properties have not migrated during the migration process. That's why We have to do that manually.

So, I have checked all workflow Transition Properties present in 3 Projects.

Here, the Following Transition Properties are Used in the Server:

jira.description
jira.fieldscreen.id
opsbar-sequence
jira.i18n.description
jira.i18n.submit
jira.i18n.title
jira.autotransitions.triggerdefinitions
servicedesk.customer.transition.active
servicedesk.customer.transition.resolution

Can you please tell us, if we can use it in the cloud or not?

And if yes, then how can we use it in the cloud?

Thanks & Regards,
Prathamesh Rane

Hey @Prathamesh Rane ,

You can reference this page to know more about the workflow properties https://confluence.atlassian.com/servicedeskcloud/useful-workflow-properties-for-jira-cloud-1097176552.html

In my own experience, the Cloud version may not have all the properties as Server, but most of them work the same way as expected.

What you can do to try this out is, to create a Test Instance and run a Server to Cloud Migration. Test out everything in the test site, and once you've analyzed all the customization only then proceed with the final movement.

The reason I mention this is because you may find the documentation for the properties, but unless you test it yourself (or with your team) you may not have a 100% guarantee everything works the way you expect it to.

Hope this helps.

Hello @Jehan Bhathena ,

Thank you for your response. This would be helpful for us.
