If you're using the server version you are responsible to implement your own backup policies. If you don't have a backup you can use nothing can be done.
If you are using the cloud version I'm not sure if something can be done since I'm not a cloud user but I would certainly hope so. I would suggest to directly contact with atlassian customer support ( https://support.atlassian.com/contact/#/ ).
