Can I use an anonymous login (service account) for read-only access to a Kanban board touchscreen?

We have been tasked with setting up a Kanban board via touchscreen and would like to find out if JIRA can accommodate. The requirements would be 24/7 visibility (read only is fine) of a Kanban board. To change/update details, requiring a username/password is fine. Once a person logs out (or upon timeout) it would need to revert back to a 24/7 'dashboard' style Kanban board.

You can certainly do that. Create a generic account, add that account to the role/group that has the "Browse Permission" to your project.
