Can I set up different filters for a roadmap and a board?

Hey guys,

I want to make the roadmap showing 4 joint boards & visible in each board - is it possible?

In other words I need roadmap to show the whole work that needs to be done by separated departments working on different boards. The problem is that I want to show this roadmap 4 times (once on each board) and not on 5th board created just for that purpose. Board itself needs to show the tasks for one specific department and general roadmap.

It seems impossible. Different filters for roadmap (show all) and for board (show specific) would do the trick but it looks like I cannot set up different filters in one board. Am I right?

Welcome to Atlassian Community!

When it comes to project Roadmaps, currently, it’s not possible to show Epics and Child issues from multiple projects. Once you enable the Roadmap on a project, even if the board filter shows tickets from other projects, it won’t reflect in the Roadmap.

Also, there is no option to add more filters on the Roadmap view.

There are feature requests suggesting improvements for that:

• More Filter for Roadmaps
• Support cross-project usage in Basic Roadmaps for Classic projects
