Can I get access to Jira Service Desk

I have the free version of Jira Software and the paid version of Confluence. Is there a way that I can use (paid or otherwise) a copy of Jira Service Desk? I need to help someone migrate over from Zendesk and would like to play around with it in a non-production environment.

You can create a different instance of JSD all by itself and play around there for free as long as you have only 3 agents defined in there.

By the way you don't get a tool to transfer the configuration you did in one instance to transfer them to another instance.

Ok. sounds good. But how do I "create a different instance of JSD all by itself?" Is this something I do from within Jira or do I have to download a separate app?

Never mind. I see it's a choice in my pick list.
