Bugs and Tasks dissapeared when moving to Sprint

So we had a project with bugs and tasks and other issue types already there and the project needed changing to a sprint so I set this up but all the issues moved into the backlog and then into the sprint and it's deleted any issue which is not a Story? 
Is there a way of getting these back or will it be having to recreate them?

go to board settings>columns

map status of issues with concerned column then you will be able to see

may be bugs and tasks are in status which might not be mapped with column that's the reason you are not seeing bugs and tasks issues

Thanks for the answer, I've got it in a sprint and I can't seem to get any board settings for this to modify the columns?
