Using JIRA, for SCRUMM, on "active sprint" view - the scroll bars and screen sizing stops working after some (indeterminate) time and/or state.
I frequently move windows from a vertical screen to horizontal. Going one direction, there is a large gap. Going the other, the content is cut off and inaccessible, requiring a full browser refresh to fix.
Console logs show an errors, such as:
```
Uncaught TypeError: i.done is not a function
at batch.js?agile_global...ue@local=en-US:679
```
as well as other warnings, etc.
It is not clear what action triggers this - sometimes it works fine (auto resizing as window is resized), other times, it stops working. Here is an example where I've sized the window larger - auto resize not working here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1YX4rIRzZbvsj72tlEA4aIIgRBw8BOI0h/view
Any thoughts on what is wrong or how it can be fixed?
Hello @Trent Tobler,
Thank you for reaching out to Atlassian Community!
The use of the vertical screen on boards doesn't currently work as expected. There is a feature request created back in 2017 that already mention some issues using a vertical screen.
Have you tested using another browser or incognito mode? This is just to make sure that there are no extensions blocking it from work correctly.
Is it affecting other users?

I do not think it strictly an issue with vertical screens - as these work initially, and only stop working after some as of yet determined event, input, or timing occurs.
I noticed the issue on window now, and in addition to the javascript error I noted above, it looks like there is also a "failed to load resource" error, immediatly after the error? Not sure if that helps or is not part of the issue...
```
error while triggering: Cannot read property 'name' of undefined - batch.js?jag=true&locale=en-US:12555
Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 422 () - analytics.atlassian.com/analytics/events:1
```
These errors seem to be the only consistent indicator when I compare windows without the issue and those that have the issue (on both the vertical screen, and the horizontal screen -- I run 3 monitors total, actually).
I am not certain if others on our team experience this, but I can ask around. In terms of running in an anonymous window, I can try that but as I am not certain what starts the problem behavior it's not as easy as just starting the app and checking (since it almost always works initially for some period of time.)

I read through the issue you referenced on vertical screens.. this ticket seems more oriented to a design issue, rather than a bug where it fails to size at all. While it might be nice to have design elements oriented for a vertical layout, I don't run into usability issues noted in the ticket that frequently -- possibly because the horizontal resolution I use is large enough even on the vertical screens (two screens at 1200 x 1980, and one screen at 2048x1152)
The issue I run into continues to be a problem even on the horizontal screen... it too stops resizing the various elements, no longer sizing based on window size, and instead locking them to whatever size (with window level scroll bars starting to appear)..
The image I posted isn't as effective now, I realize, as I had hoped. It was the "gap" I was noting that was at issue.
I'm not sure I am communicating the issue correctly. I have the issue on one window on my horizontal screen, and not the other, side by side. The one that is working has one scrollbar, on the "ticket board" area. The one that is not working has two scrollbars, one on the "ticket board" area, and one on the window as a whole (scrolling the header on and off the screen). It's as if it has decided not to lay itself out to the window size anymore, as I change the size of the window.

Thank you for the details, Trent.
We tried to replicate the issue here using a vertical monitor and moving it between horizontal and vertical, but it worked fine.
The boards are resized and fit the vertical screen.
Are you using any add-ons on this specific project?
Have you tested using another browser or incognito mode? Maybe there is some extension on your browser that is blocking something in Jira, so it would be good to test.
