Automatic creation of components when a project is created newly

We have same set of components (~30) to be manually created everytime when a new project is created. Is there an option available to create components automatically during project creation? kindly help!

unfortunately, using builtin features, you can't do that. There is an open request in order to make components sharable per pmultiple projects https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-8663

As a workaround, you can use https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/6398/jira-command-line-interface-cli?tab=overview&hosting=cloud features. In particular, you could use copyComponents to do that https://bobswift.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/JCLI/pages/1059396661/copyComponents

Another solution, you can check if you're comfortable with Marketplace plugins, is Business Process Manager. My team has created it to deal with recurring business processes and standardize them. 

You can create your custom template of the process with

• various steps = Jira issues
  
  
• create a custom dynamic form in the steps
  
  
• set up an approval process with conditions
  
  
• add project, issue type and assignee(s) so BPM could automatically create Jira issue
