We have same set of components (~30) to be manually created everytime when a new project is created. Is there an option available to create components automatically during project creation? kindly help!
Hi @rbalamu2 ,
unfortunately, using builtin features, you can't do that. There is an open request in order to make components sharable per pmultiple projects https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-8663
As a workaround, you can use https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/6398/jira-command-line-interface-cli?tab=overview&hosting=cloud features. In particular, you could use copyComponents to do that https://bobswift.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/JCLI/pages/1059396661/copyComponents
Hope this helps,
Fabio

Hi @rbalamu2,

If you're working with company-managed projects, you can also try our app Deep Clone for Jira.
With our app you can clone entire company-managed projects, along with issues, components and versions.

Hi, @rbalamu2
Another solution, you can check if you're comfortable with Marketplace plugins, is Business Process Manager. My team has created it to deal with recurring tasks and standardize management processes.
You can create your custom template, fill it with necessary data, and add assignee, approver and blocker if you need. And after that schedule ticket creation.
