Automate issue creation from slack channel or website?

Hi!

I want to be able to create issues in jira with some custom fields populated from a slack message OR from a new entry in my website.

The thing about this is that the slack channel would also receive messages that are not for a issue creation.

I've been doing some research on webhooks and rest API but nothing seems to resolve my problem, does anyone have a clue of where to start here?
