Hello,
For the last couple of weeks, Jira modals are not opening in Microsoft edge (Version 87.0.664.75) for me.
This includes Create modal and Changing the bug status modal from 'Ready to Retest' to 'Ready to Promote' modal.
For the bug state modal, I receive the following error
Uncaught (in promise) TypeError: a.className.match is not a function
This problem does not occur in safari or Brave browser. Anyone faced similar issue?
Hello Justin,
Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
Can you please provide us a screenshot of the error you are receiving? Is it happening only when you click to create a bug issue or is it happening to any issue type?
Based on the error described by you, we don't have any known bugs or global issues that might be causing that problem, but we received a report from another customer that was facing this exact same error on Chrome due to a browser extension called RGBlind.
That being said, can you please check if the problem reproduces when using Microsoft Edge on incognito mode and if disabling RGBlind properly fix it?
Cheers!
RGBlind was the culprit. After removing the extension, Jira modal work properly.
Thanks a lot :)
