After upgrade from 5.1.x to 5.2.6, Gadgets and Greenhopper doesn't work.

*Greenhopper*

After updating the plugin we only see

GreenHopper is currently unavailable. This might be because an upgrade task has failed to run or has not not yet completed.

Please contact your system administrator if you continue to see this message.

Hey there, Frank.

Can you please try to perform the following and see if the issue continues to occur:

  1. Shutdown JIRA instance
  2. Delete the contents of JIRA Home Directory\plugins\.osgi-plugins directory
  3. Delete the contents of JIRA Home Directory\plugins\.bundled-plugins directory
  4. Delete the contents of JIRA Installation Directory\work directory
  5. Delete contents of the JIRA Home Directory\caches\indexes\changes directory
  6. Delete contents of the JIRA Home Directory\caches\indexes\comments directory
  7. Delete contents of the JIRA Home Directory\caches\indexes\entities directory
  8. Delete contents of the JIRA Home Directory\caches\indexes\issues directory
  9. Restart JIRA instance
  10. Perform re-indexing

I do recommend you to perform an XML backup before proceeding with the steps. Just to stay on the safe side if anything happens along the way. If the issue continues to occur, you should get in touch with Atlassian Support so that they will be able to help you further on this:

Warm regards,

Danial
