Adding an email to business project

Hello, 

I was wondering if there is a way to add the ability for individuals outside of an organization to send emails to a business project (or any project)... 

The issue I have is that a support project cannot be layout out as a kanban board.  The queue status changed but I need a visual to 'float' the ticket through the various swimlanes.

Any suggestions?
