Add default swim lane for new issue

Dear community,

I would like to have a new "bug" issues, that my team adds to my next-gen scrum board being automatically added to the swim lane "reported bugs". Furthermore, all issues called "feature proposals" (I created a costumized issue) are supposed to be added to the swim lane "feature ideas".

How could I change this in the settings?

Furthermore, how is it possible to later change an issue "future idea" to the issue "story" to conceptualize it for development?

Hi Klaas,

This is not possible with Next-gen projects as they are very limited. You would be able to do that with a Classic Software type project though.

While on the board for the Classic Software project, click on the Board Settings under the 3 dot menu on the top right. 

Then click on the Swimlanes menu option on the left hand side.
