Some while ago, the 'show more' button at the bottom of the Activity Streams gadget on the System Dashboard changed behaviour. Now when clicked, the display refreshes a whole 'page' down the list. It's hit and miss to scroll back up to what was to be the 'next' item in the list.
Is there a setting to return to the previous behaviour?
Hello @David Jupp,
Welcome to Atlassian Community!
Testing on my local site, I wasn’t able to replicate the issue (tested with Chrome and Firefox).
Can you please let us know what browser you are using?
Have you tested using another one or incognito mode?
Is this issue affecting other users?
If possible, disable the extensions just to make sure none of them is affecting the functionality.
Kind regards,
Angélica
I'm using Edge (Chromium), I've also tried Chrome where (unsurprisingly) I get the same result.
The behaviour in Edge has changed - I can't put my finger on exact timescale.
I've asked another user in the company, they don't see this behaviour.

I tried disabling all extensions in Edge (only 2). No change in behaviour.

Thank you for testing, David.
I tried to replicate the issue again on another browser, but it worked correctly.
I also didn’t find any similar issue or bug.
Is there any filter applied to the gadget?
Is it set to automatically refresh?
If possible, create a test dashboard and add the gadget without any filter to see if it has different behavior.

Is any filter applied ? - I don't know, how or where would I see that? I've been looking for settings that might explain this for weeks.
Is it set to automatically refresh ? - I don't know, how or where do I find that option?
I managed to find how to create a new dashboard. That does work as per how I remember it working before the problem. Looks like I'll just have to use that instead of the company System Dashboard. Still no idea what happened.

If you are not the owner of the Dashboard, then it will not be possible to configure the gadget to view if there are filters.
You can reach out to your administrator and you can use the same filters on the gadget of your personal dashboard to test.

Well no, I'm not the owner of the company system dashboard.
Oddly nobody else has reported any issue with it. Seems it works fine for others in the company.
All very odd.
