I would like to customize the issue type, so that incoming mail can be made into a Sub-Task instead of a main Task if the subject of the email is the same as an existing Task.
I've got emails coming from an automated cloud server that creates the subject based on specific attributes. I would like any emails coming in to check existing Tasks to see it already exists and if so, then don't create it as a new Task, but instead create it as a Sub-Task, but still a new issue.
It seems like this could be done on the Jira Server, but I wasn't sure if it could be done on the Jira Software Cloud.
