A member of staff is registered in the projects as "sprint planner" and administrator, but cannot manage the sprints in the projects. What could be the reason for this? This problem only occures with only one person.
Unsure what “sprint planner” means. To be able to manage sprints the user needs to be in a role or group that has “Manage Sprints” permissions so please check - project settings > permissions
Thank you for your answer - the user is in a role that has the permission to manage sprints... so it's not the lack of permission.

This may be what you mean by them being on the project - but to confirm:
They must be part of the "people" on that project. In the project settings there is an area for determining who can access/modify that project- make sure that person is in there (or are part of a group in there) and also has the correct level of permissions, based on the roles that have the Manage Sprint permissions.

@Viktoria Gassner
Is there a specific error coming up when the person tries to manage the sprint or is the operation failing silently?
If all said above does not help could you please provide a screenshot (anonymized) of both "people" settings as well as the Permission Scheme assigned to the project?
