429 - Oops - an error has occurred

Shharrnam June 30, 2022

Hi Community,

We are trying to access Jira using the rest API and are getting the following response from Jira.

org.springframework.web.client.HttpClientErrorException$TooManyRequests: 429 Too Many Requests: [<!DOCTYPE html><html lang="en"><head><meta charset="utf-8"><meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=edge"><title>Oops - an error has occurred</title><link type='text/css' rel='stylesheet' href='... (1632 bytes)]. We also do not usually receive this particular response incase of 429. Does this have something to do with the active incident?

We already have implemented Wait on 429's Retry-After header, but we are still receiving the same response even after waiting.

Has anyone seen this before?
