I think there's no way to do that.

However, you can check the Jira fields reference at: https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirasoftwareserver/advanced-searching-fields-reference-939938743.html

For instance, you can have a JQL like this:

fixVersion in releasedVersions() AND (resolved >  "2020/09/01"   and resolved <  "2020/09/30")

This would show all the issues resolved in September 2020 and included in any released version.

Hi @Sai Patnala  -- Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

Agreeing that there is no built-in way to do this with Jira Cloud...primarily because JQL is not a true SQL and so you cannot join between issue and version information. What can you do...

There appear to be marketplace add-ons (for purchase) which provide improved release/version handling.

Or, you could use custom fields and automation rules to make your own:

  • Looking at the version fields, add custom fields to issues for what you want to capture.  For example, Version Release Date
  • Use automation rules such that when a version is released, it updates the associated issues with the version's released date
    • Trigger: version released
    • Branch: issues within the version
      • Action: edit your field to save the version released date
  • Whenever you want, you can now filter on the custom field to find the issues released within a time range

Best regards,

Bill
