We would like to be able to report on the number of stories that cascade across multiple sprints, or maybe an inverse metric like average number of sprints to complete a story.
Ideally, this would be available as a report, and https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-Core-questions/What-does-it-mean-when-a-ticket-is-completed-outside-a-spint/qaq-p/2992 mentions "issue complete outside a sprint" but I don’t think the “Sprint report” they’re referring to is present in modern Jira Cloud.
If we could come up with a JQL query, we could manually put together a report.
