Permissions for Time Traking / original Estimate

Hi ther,

i like to destrict the permission of the systemfield original Estimate.

Today i have reade thome posts that this is not possibil and i find much issus at Atlassian Jira that was closed. 

Do Anyone know, is atlassian workin on it ? 

I look also at thome plugins that will hide Fields as group permission but no one can hide systemfelds correctly. Its hide the Time Tracing compleaty.

Have anyone a solution for this problem ?

No, you can either use the time-tracking, or you can not.  If you don't want to use it in a project, remove the "time tracking" field from the project.

Like almost every other field, you can't restrict its use with permissions. 

You can limit the use of worklogs with permissions though, which are one data item that feeds into the time tracking field.
