I want a pipeline to be triggered to GIT when we change the status of a Jira issue from open to in-progress.

Hi Preethy,

You can achieve that with Automation for Jira. Since you are using the Server version Automation is an add-on. There is a Lite version that is free but you would probably need the fully functional paid version to do what you want.
